Jasm​ine'​​​​s​​ s​​i​nging talent was discovered while singing in the youth choir at Cathedral of Faith Church of God in Christ at the age of 2. Her amazing gift was noticed by ​the choir di​rector who quickly brought Jasmine to the front for recognition.  She was given many opportunities to lea​d selections for the choir that mesmerized the congregation and always brought them to their feet. Jasmine’s ability to sing before crowds without fear left spectators amazed at her level of boldness at such a young age. Her gifts were enhanced as she attended performing art schools from elementary through high school.  During this time Jasmine was featured in several plays including Annie, Miracle Worker, Grease, and A Rising Star. Throughout a busy hectic schedule, Jasmine was able to graduate with a 3.6 GPA from DeKalb School of the Arts. Her singing talents have been further cultivated at Georgia Southern University and Georgia State University in several student organziations and gospel choirs. She graduated from Georgia State University with a major in Speech Communication and a minor in Psychology in May 2013. ​​​


 ​Jasmine Lynese is the proud mother of her 4 year old daughter, Jaylynn. She is also the oldest sibling of a younger brother and two sisters. She currently resides in Stone Mountain, Georgia with her family. Jasmine is currently seeking any opportunity to minister the goodness of God through her singing and speaking talents. "Above all else, I just want to be a vessel that God uses to demonstrate his love for us. My voice is just one of the ways that I can express his love to others. Although singing and speaking are both gifts close to my heart, serving God is and always will be my real passion."  Some of her added credits include singing for Colin Powell, Maya Angelou, singing the national anthem for both the Braves and the Falcons, and being a finalist for TBS"s "Great American Moments."​​


Her long awaited spoken word EP Album "I'm Giving my Life Back to you" was released back in Christmas 2013. She then moved on to release her first debut singing EP album entiteled "Shine for You" on Valentine's Day 2015. To her suprise, her album release also turned into a proposal. on the same night! She married the love of her life, Derek Douglas on September 12, 2015 and they are serving God together faithfully together in ministry. Jasmine currently serves as the Worship Director at her home church, and serves alongside her husband as the young Adult Minister at her home church of Connect Church in Decatur, GA.


The latest edition is the expected arrival of their son, Jeremiah Douglas, who is scheduled to arrive October 2018! Jasmine Lynese is definitely on the move and excited to see where God will take her in the days to come. Her desire to release her next music project in 2019.
